Seckin Endometriosis Research Center for Women’s Health

You can help make history — and hope — possible.
The Seckin Endometriosis Research Center at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory will be a world-class facility dedicated exclusively to unraveling the complex biology of endometriosis.

Founded by internationally renowned e
ndometriosis surgeon Tamer Seckin, MD this state-of-the-art center will unite leading scientists and clinicians in a focused effort to uncover the causes, improve diagnostics, and accelerate the development of effective treatments for endometriosis — a disease that affects more than 200 million people globally and remains chronically overlooked, misunderstood, and underfunded.

With your support, we can finally change the story for those living with endometriosis — and deliver the breakthrough they’ve been waiting for.

Alexis Roderick Joel shares her journey with endometriosis and highlights the groundbreaking launch of the Seckin Endometriosis Center at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Read the full story at Newsday.

The fight to end endometriosis begins with science and vision — and you.

The newly established Seckin Endometriosis Research Center at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory honors internationally renowned surgeon Tamer Seckin, MD, Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital, and Founder & President of the Endometriosis Foundation of America.

As a pioneer in endometriosis treatment, Dr. Seckin transformed the field with his patented
blue dye technique, which enables surgeons to detect hidden lesions that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Dr. Seckin’s lifelong dedication to women’s health has redefined how doctors understand and treat endometriosis. Now, his vision is advancing a new era of research. Backed by a
$10 million commitment from EndoFound, matched by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Board Chair Marilyn Simons, this historic $20 million investment will fund 10 years of breakthrough science to uncover the molecular drivers of endometriosis, develop noninvasive diagnostics, and accelerate innovative therapies.

Join us on this bold journey to launch the Seckin Endometriosis Research Center — a dedicated research initiative focused entirely on endometriosis.
Power the science. Fuel the hope. Help rewrite the future for the millions who’ve spent years in pain without answers or relief.
